Alhamdulillah. It has been a year since I enroll medical school in UCC, Ireland. This time last year I was still indecisive on where and which university I wanted to pursue my study. Looking back, I only manage to carve a smile on things that I've been through on this journey. Surely, I am nothing without Him. Thank you Allah. I'm starting to see the blessings in disguise. :)
A year had passed and currently I'm at the junction of the road. I don't want to come back but want to go further. Biizinillah I'll pass it through..
*My friend shared this prayer when we went for jaulah last time :) So lets recite it especially when seeing His beautiful creation

I've always wanted to pursue medicine course in UCC as well! How's the uni's life there?
I've just received my A-Level result last august and I've been thinking of going to Ireland. Could you tell me bits and pieces about the Uni in Cork? What about scholarship and stuff?

It's really nice to have junior who's interested to study in UCC. I don't really think I could really put it into words on life of UCC. But I really like it here. The lecturers and module coordinators have been really helpful. Basically, it's really student centered. and for funding, you can apply MARA :)
It's good to know that. How do you apply for MARA by the way? I've e-mailed MARA Ireland ad they said that they do not sponsored any students applying for medicine anymore.
Its the policy, and that they only sponsored under the SPC (Skim Pelajar Cemerlang) from Malaysia.
Since I've been living abroad for 10 years now, I don't really know the system of scholarship in Malaysia. I wish u could gives a few guides on this. Cheers!
I'm under SPC. I've heard about MARA don't want to sponsor medicine students anymore. But for this year (first year), MARA still sponsored those who're not under SPC.But of course they need to have the offer letter from the uni.
I personally doesn't know much about scholarship for those who didn't have SPM (I assume you didn't sit for SPM). But there're a few other scholarship for medicine, if you wanna try, you might want to email them, ie JPA, SimeDarby.
