Is it the right choice?

So today, the first Arabic class has started. I'm quite happy to learn this language even before this to be frankly, I'm not really into this language. Perhaps after so long not hearing people talking using Arabic, I feel so excited :)

Moving on..

"Symposium!" "Symposium!"

I would conclude that's the word of the week. Symposium's actually a program for future nuqoba'- the one who'll conduct the usrah. The thing is I'm not signing up for nuqoba' programme. There were loads of my friends were shocked when I was saying that I'm not signing up for naqibah to be. To be honest, it was like, really hard for me to make this decision. I knew this is the best path so far where I could contribute sth, at least to my religion. I even could make more friends. Nonetheless, I just felt that my real intention wasn't that. It's not that I don't want. It's really a good feeling when attending usrah. and of course I want others to feel what I'm feeling.

I'm always scared with this verse,

O ye who believe! Why say ye that which ye do not?Grievously odious is it in the sight of Allah that ye say that which ye do not. (As-saff:3,4)

Well, anyway, the college will faced the electric disturbance tomorrow. Most of my friends went home, obviously and the others went to the symposium. I don't know what I am going to do. None of my remaining friends want to go for an outing. and I guess, I am all alone again.

but hey, I'm not alone. InsyaAllah, Allah always stays beside me :)

and this sunday, I'll go to KLCC for MPO (Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra) It is actually a part of mentor-mentee programme. I'd never watched any musical and even, had never been to MPO before. Hopefully, it'll be fun.

To reflect on yesterday, before taking breakfast my friend and I went for jogging. This's the first time I jogged after the holiday. Upon arriving the end of the track, I suffered dizzy spells. Surprisingly I couldn't barely walk. Thanks my dear friend for helping and bring me back to my room! Perhaps this's due to my sedentary lifestyle =.=

I've just googled about caffeine. This is because, for the past few days I've been drinking coffee in order to finish warisan assignment. It was like Oh My GOD, torturing. I was so pissed off at first as I didn't have enough time to study. But then, I realized sth- Intention is the most crucial part when we do sth. Actually, I had to create a blog regarding CAS - clubs, sports, humanitarian projects, external CAS, yadda yadda. In order to stay awake in class, I drank coffee, excessively. It was effective at first but I found myself more tired than usual.
(for your information, I rarely drink coffee)

and here's some info from google:

Why does caffeine makes you tired?

Caffeine makes your body free more energy than normal (leading to euphoria). If you use that extra energy, your energy levels (glucose levels in your blood) will quickly drop, leading to headache and other side-effects (crash).

First, caffeine is a vasoconstictor (it shrinks your blood vessels) thereby, it increases your heart rate and blood pressure. This is why caffeine is so effective for treating headaches.

Second, caffeine is also a diuretic (it makes you pee). Therefore, if you are already dehydrated, then the caffeine will not have enough blood volume to shrink down the vessels to increase your blood pressure, and the caffeine will increase your dehydration to make you more tired.

Tip: this is what I do. Drink at least 3 to 4- 8 ounce glasses of water before drinkingone cup of coffee. You will run to the bathroom in 20 minutes, but you see that you will have more pep and energy and use the 3 to 4 rule with every cup. You will find that you need less coffee to give you more energy

UPDATE: I ended up joining the symposium :)

A start

Say HI!

New semester has started for a week already. I've already got the result for Semester 1 exam. Since 130++ students scored 36 and above, I would say that my result was just so-so. Err, I take that back, It was bad actually.

Let's aim higher for this sem shall we? God Willing.

This semester, there will be

more assignments

more presentations

more activities

more responsibilities..

and of course

the level is higher..

but no matter what,

I have to score well

it's for PLACEMENT..

Anyway, I still don't have any idea about EE and World Lite topics. =.=

bestow upon me divine inspirations, Ya Allah!

**

I sign up for Arabic tutor programme. At first, I doubted whether is that a really good idea for me. I afraid that I cannot manage my time well. (Blame IB for this, teehee) But then, it's a waste of learning Arabic for almost 5 years, and at the end, I forget everything. Hopefully, I 'll be a good tutor and could help others to learn this lughatil Quran. (Language of Quran) -even I know my Arabic isn't very good.-

This evening, this one guy asked us (tutors-to-be) to answer a few Qs to test our language proficiency. At first, I was like, "what the..?" Later, I found that it was quite beneficial for us. It 's actually just a basic Arabic. Still, I couldn't answer it well. I need to study more on Mudhof-mudhofun ilaih. =.=

or maybe, I just should join the class.

#The books are in dire need to be read. But, I gotta finish Warisan assignment first. -I couldnt understand why I have to learn this?-

Till then :)
