Unconditional love. Does it ever exist?

I am enticed by a status from a senior, which goes;

"We often mix between what is for Allah's sake 

and what is for our own sake". 

We do those extra ibadah because we have those worldly gains that we want. 

We were told that out of many ways to gain His love are to do things such as reciting the Quran, listeing to Islamic speakers, go to daurah, waking up for qiamullai,and  performing (extra) solat rawatib. Whether we realize or not, those effort can easily turn into just another daily routine.

when we're standing up after our obligatory prayer,
when we're lifting our hands for du'a that we've been reciting and memorizing for the past months.
when we're prostrating during prayers and all we are doing is asking for those worldly things that we wanted so bad.

never or rarely, to appreciate His presence or His closeness.

and sometimes, we do all the ibadah so that we're able to tick the boxes for our 'mutabaah amal' or good-deeds-I've-done list.

Rarely we talk to him and pour things out from our hearts.

We do those ibadah because all the wordly gains.

and of course, all of them can be prevented by having a pure intention and
by keep renewing our intention.

To love Allah for the sake of Allah
To do those extra ibadah for Him, not just because we have this wordly gain that we want.
and To be sincere, despite knowing that it is the most challenging thing to do.

Let us seek for Allah's redha and thus gaining a beautiful ending, shall we?

A Cup of Tea

For tea-lovers, sipping tea is a blast. It calms one's mind and body. Same goes to Iman, it calms.

No one will know the sweetness of the tea except those who drink it. Same goes to Iman, Halawatul iman can only be felt for those who embraced  it.

Tea can be a venom for those who're having constipation but a healing for people with diarrhea. Same goes to iman, jahiliyyah, taghut, etc can be the venom.

Who ever thoughts that a mere green leave can produce this delicious yet invigorating drink. Same with Iman & Islam, we humans can be no one, but with them, we are somebody. Not because we're great but Islam is the greatest.

To enhance the taste of tea, we put sugar and milk into the tea. Same goes to Iman, it should be enhanced with knowledge and understanding, etc too.

p/s: It's just my own comparisons, which might be wrong.

I accidentally deleted a Picasa folder in my google acount, which contains this blog's pictures, background and layout stuff. Too bad I don't have a back up. So now, my blog is full with "no entry sign" -.-'

I accidentally formatted my lappy. "Accidentally? Like how?"- I know this will be your first reaction. But seriously this was sooo heart-breaking as I lost all my personal data, original software and application.

A friend of mine said this to me: "Start a new life, Atikah"

and yes, I have to. (It really sounds like a big problem over there. Hehe)


When this thing happened, I was wondering that even though I felt sad but, I still have another chance (for this case: re-install everything, and ask for the e-books and lectures notes copies from friends) But if we deleted Allah and Islam in our life in this dunya, we certainly will not have any other chance in the hereafter. and that is it. the most regretful person, we will be. Nauzubillah.

Then is he who will shield with his face the worst of the punishment on the Day of Resurrection [like one secure from it]? And it will be said to the wrongdoers, "Taste what you used to earn." Those before them denied, and punishment came upon them from where they did not perceive. So Allah made them taste disgrace in worldly life. But the punishment of the Hereafter is greater, if they only knew.And We have certainly presented for the people in this Qur'an from every [kind of] example - that they might remember.

(39:24-27)

Hurm, so take it or leave it. May He guide us all.

Colours Of My Life

It's weekend and I joined a gathering (more to a picinic) with the sisters. I know I still have EE, ToK, CAS, and howework unfinished but I don't want to make this as an excuse for not going to that programme. Thanks Almighty God for such beautiful memories and reminders. To say it specifically, we went to Morib Beach, Banting, Selangor. It wasn't bad at all. At least this place reminds me on  the registration day of KMB (My family brought me here and I complained about its wave breaker) I did learn a lot about ukhuwwah. Mentioning "ukhuwwah" reminds me on Prophet Muhammad SAW and Abu Bakr, and Ansor and Muhajirrin.  

A friend of mine shared a beautifully said piece of words yesterday. Bad enough I forget it already. So, I come up with a new version of words xD.

Loving a friend means we bring her/him closer to God. Walk through this dunya together with His guide and keep reminding each other to the path of khoir.

and a story to be shared:

One day, Abu Bakr (R) and Ali (R) were walking towards each other. They passed by each other and neither greeted the other. In arabic culture it is customary for the younger to greet the elder. Later that day Abu Bakr(R) saw Ali (R) and asked him, "Are you upset with me?" because he had not greeted him. ALi (R) replied, "No, but last night I had a dream. In the dream I saw a beautiful palace in paradise. I asked who’s palace it was and an angel told me it is for the brother who greets the other first. I was waiting for you to greet me because I wanted you to have the palace." Abu Bakr then told him, “Last night I had the same dream too. I was waiting for you to greet me because I also wanted you to have the palace.”

See how incredible their ukhuwwah is. Inshallah Allah (SWT) will give us this kind of strength so we can become like them too.

Friends on that Day will be enemies one to another, except al-Muttaqoon (i.e. those who have Taqwah).                                                                                   [Qur’an 43:67]

"Hafidh Ibn Katheer, commenting on this verse, relates a story on the authority of Ali Ibn Abi Talib (ra) and says that any friendship for other than Allah is turned into enmity, except what was in it for Allah the Mighty and Majestic: “Two who are friends for Allah’s sake; one of them dies and is given good news that he will be granted al-Jannah, so he remembered his friend and he supplicated for him, saying: ‘O Allah, my friend used to command me to obey You and to obey Your Prophet (saws) and used to command me to do good and to forbid me from doing evil. And he told me that I will meet You. O Allah, do not let him go astray after me, until you show him what you have just shown me, until You are satisfied with him, just like You are satisfied with me.’ So he is told: ‘Had you known what is (written) for you friend, would you have laughed a lot and cried a little.’ Then his friend dies and their souls are gathered, and both are asked to express their opinions about each other. So each one of them says to his friend: ‘You were the best brother, the best companion and the best friend.’ 

And when one of the two disbelieving friends dies, and he is given tidings of Hellfire, he remembered his friend and he said: ‘O Allah, my friend used to order me to disobey You and disobey Your Prophet, and commanded me to do evil, and forbade me from doing good, and told me that I would not meet You. O Allah, do not guide him after me, until you show him what you have just shown me and until you are dissatisfied with him just like You are dissatisfied with me.’ Then the other disbelieving friend dies, and their souls are gathered, and both are asked to give their opinions about each other. So each one says to his friend: ‘You were the worst brother, the worst companion and the worst friend.”

So, let us all renew our intentions and may our friendship is showered with God blessing. Writing this brings back my mind to the old days with my buddies in Maahad.

Have faith

So this is my first post of 2012. 09 January 2012- a kind of, significant date for me. I'm just hoping everything turns up well. Anyway, today's the last day of our exam review week, technically, as there're still a few papers that I didn't get. Last semester exam surely indicates my poor performances in studies especially in certain subjects. Most of my friends ' results also were not so good as compared to the previous sem exam. It's understandable that semester 3 was really packed and hectic. Still, what I worried the most is that I did study for this 'one' subject but still fail to get seven. Frustrated! =.=


On a different note, I have something to share with my fellow readers.

If ye help not (your leader-prophet Muhammad saw), (it is no matter): for Allah did indeed help him, when the Unbelievers drove him out: he had no more than one companion; they two were in the cave, and he said to his companion, "Have no fear, for Allah is with us": then Allah sent down His peace upon him, and strengthened him with forces which ye saw not, and humbled to the depths the word of the Unbelievers. But the word of Allah is exalted to the heights: for Allah is Exalted in might, Wise.  (9:40) 

I'm pretty sure that this  most of us know this hijra story as this's part of Islamic studies syllabus since kindergarten. From those verse, we can see on how our prophet and Abu Bakr put their fully believe, faith and confidence on Allah when mushrikeen sought after them. At the end, Allah sent His  help to both of them and they saved. 


All  this while, I do think that believe, faith and confidence are the same thing. But I was completely wrong.
A friend of mine shared an analogy to show the differences between these words.


Say you're at shooting target booth in a fun fair and you saw someone, who was successfully shooting a apple 7 times without even a miss. You would surely impressed of the ability of that person and regard her/him as a good shooter. But are you confidence enough to offer yourself by putting the apple on your head, so that the so called good shooter can test his skill again. (and by using the real pistol) I believe not all of us have courage to do this. Not even me! To make it more fascinating, imagine yourself in medieval time, where you were tied on a wheel and spun around. (imagine a dagger instead of pistol as i don't think there's pistol at that time)

I hope at this point all of you get my message. Try relate this analogy to Allah. We know that He's capable of doing anything He want but at a point we feel it's kind impossible for things to happen. Miracle do happen. and that's Allah  will.


So, do believe, have faith and confidence on Him.

False Attachment

idk why it turns the other way around

17 December already! Believe it or not, there's 2 more weeks before I left for Banting. I'm not intending to lament on how I totally forgot about the Self Intervention Programme or describing any single days I've faced by procrastinating and whatnot. Still, there's 2 week time right? Don’t take it for granted but lets us make this real.

These few days, I've been reading MashaAllah, an amazing blog, post by post which then leads me to the other amazing blog. I aspire to be like both of them, to be a writer that can amazingly pours my creative spark, which remind people towards Him. Long way to go, though.


OK, back to the main point, "False Attachment". What are things that popped-up into your minds when reading the title? And do we ever realize that we are actually bounded ourselves in a false attachment? Ummmh, false attachment- what is it? It can be anything, but InshaAllah I only want to focus on an aspect only. It is ‘love of dunya’. Many of us (including me formerly) think that ‘love of dunya’ means being attached to material things. But hey, it isn’t necessarily applied.


As we grow up, we become attached to everything around us. People, places, events, photographs, memories—even outcomes became things or objects of the strong attachment. This is what I want to highlight here. Yeay, I know it is unavoidable but the problem is, we attached ourselves to them all too much without realizing it.


I quoted this phrase from a sister,

“If we live in dunya with our hearts, it breaks us. That’s why this dunya hurts.”

That is just so true. It is undeniable that sometimes life or dunya hurts us. There are times when things didn’t work out the way we wanted or imagined they should, we face rejections, broken relationship, losing the loved ones and lots of other circumstances that make us fall apart. The disappointment we faced at times not only an ordinary emotion but it is disastrous. Worse, once let down, it can never fully recover as if we could never forget, and the break would never be mended. Like a glass, once broken, the pieces would never quite fit again. It is really hurt, isn’t? why we feel that way? That’s all simply because we live in dunya with our hearts or in other words, due to the love of dunya.


We supposed to be happy when any difficulties or trouble hits us. All because He, The Almighty are watching over us at that time. Out of zillions creatures, he’s watching over us. In fact, He had already promised that He will give it a little sooner or something better for us. If he didn’t give it, it means those things are not good for us. See? But in the reality, most of us are still feeling sad when anything bad happened to us. Why? The answer is still the same. Hubbu dunya. (the love of dunya) OK, I know it is a completely wrong if I say human cannot be depressed over something bad. Even Rasulullah was sad over Khadijah’s death. When we face trouble, we would start to turn to Allah wholeheartedly and in that desperation and need, we ask, we beg, we pray. But when we are in our own 'comfort' zone, we barely remember Him. This so called “cycle” keep occurring to majority of us over time. Don’t we feel embarrassed toward Him? We just His slave but we acted like we are a king.


Reflect on myself, I too can’t help from this love of dunya. I keep worrying about things that might not meet my expectation and hope. Yes, expectation. We expect to have a good grades in exam. A soleh hubby/solehah wife. Peaceful life. And the lists go on and on. We struggle with every cells and fibres in the body to meet up the expectation. We gave our blood, sweat and tears to this endeavor. Here comes a problem. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying that we can’t have any expectations in life. It’s natural for human to have it but herein lay a mistake. "The problem is in *where* we are placing those expectations and that hope. At the end of the day, our hopes and expectations were not being placed in God. Our hope and expectations were in people, relationships, and such.Ultimately, our hope was in this dunya rather than Allah." See? So, why still worrying, if you know you have tried hard enough and put your fully dependency on Him?


"We experience this emotional roller coaster because we can never find stability and lasting peace until our attachment and dependency is on what is stable and lasting, to Allah. How can we hope to find constancy if what we hold on to is inconstant and perishing?"



"And if you do this, you become unbreakable, because your handhold is unbreakable. You become unconquerable, because your supporter can never be conquered. And you will never become empty, because your source of fulfillment is unending and never diminishes." I know it’s pretty hard to do this, but to gain the best, we have to strive for the best too, right?. So, let’s mujahadah.

I’ve been depressed over “something” these recent days,that I feel like giving up. I realized I should not feel that way if I put my fully dependency on Him =.=

In the midst of the increasingly yet mushrooming unbearable workloads, I easily lose my focus and simply ended up ignoring all them. Instead, I'm doing unnecessary activities; sleeping, 'facebooking', blogging and just name it. See, how ignorant I can be.

Is it one form of escapism? Well, if you ask me, it is. PERHAPS.

This actually worries me a lot. I afraid of the consequences if I keep indulging myself into this.

Successful indeed are the believers. Those who offer their prayers with all solemnity and full submissiveness. And those who turn away from Al-laghw. (Almu'minun:1-3)

* Literally, laghv is anything nonsensical, meaningless and vain, which is in no way conducive to achieving one's goal and purpose in life. The Believers pay no heed to such useless things and they show no inclination or interest for them. If by chance they see such things being indulged in, they keep away and avoid them scrupulously, or treat them with utmost indifference. This attitude has been described in Al-Furqan (XXV): 72, thus: " ... if they have to pass by what is vain, they pass by like dignified people."

This is indeed one of the outstanding characteristics of the Believer. He is a person who feels the burden of responsibility at all times; he regards the world as a place of test, and the life as the limited time allowed for the test. This feeling makes him behave seriously and responsibly throughout life just like the student who is taking an examination paper with his whole mind and body and soul absorbed in it. Just as the student knows and feels that each moment of the limited time at his disposal is important and decisive for his future life, and is not inclined to waste it, so the Believer also spends each moment of his life on works which are useful and productive in their ultimate results. So much so that even in matters of recreation and sport, he makes a choice of only those things which prepare him for higher ends in life and do not result in mere wastage of time. For him time is not something to be killed but used profitably and productively.

Besides this, the Believer is a person who possesses a right thinking mind, pure nature and fine taste: he has no inclination to indecent things: he can talk useful and healthy things but cannot indulge in idle talk: he has a fine taste of humour, but is not given to jesting, joking, ridicule, etc. nor can he endure dirty jokes and fun. For him a society in which the ears are never immune from abusive language, back-biting, slander; lying, dirty songs and indecent talk is a source of torture and agony. A characteristic of the promised Paradise is: "therein you will not hear anything vain or useless."

The Why of Fasting

Take a close look at the title of this article and jot down the reasons why you are fasting. There is no right or wrong answer to this and nobody will be marking what you write down or how you phrase it.

Now contemplate the following: “Actions are (judged) by motives (niyyah), so each man will have what he intended. Thus, he whose migration (hijrah) was to Allah and His Messenger, his migration is to Allah and His Messenger; but he whose migration was for some worldly thing he might gain, or for a wife he might marry, his migration is to that for which he migrated.”

[Al-Bukhari & Muslim]

What could be the reason for fasting?

The hadith above is telling us that our intentions can be whatever we wish, they can be worldly or they can be focussed on the akhira. However the reward and increased spirituality will be defined by discovering and understanding ‘why’ we fast.

Possible reasons for fasting

• It is ordained by Allah
• To draw closer to our creator and gain taqwa (God consciousness)
• To help us eliminate bad habits such as smoking, drinking or overeating
• To improve our willpower, discipline ourselves and gain control of our desires
• To gain an understanding of what it means to be hungry and to connect with those less privileged than us
• To help us get back on track with our faith
• To gain forgiveness
• To lose weight
• To follow what everyone else is doing
• To improve our manners
• It is what we are used to doing

Evidently the reasons why we fast can be various. However, it is unlikely that it is in search of praise from others. When we pray or give charity or perform the rites of Umrah and Hajj, our actions are visible to others and may be influenced by seeking their praise. But, fasting is different. No one knows if we are fasting or not, except Allah.

“Every deed of the son of Adam is for him except fasting; it is for Me and I shall reward for it…”

[Al-Bukhari]

So why should we be fasting?

“O you who believe, fasting has been prescribed for you as it has been prescribed for those before you, so that you may attain taqwa.”

[Qu’ran 2:183]

We fast to achieve taqwa.

Through fasting we are able to become more aware of Allah I and His nearness to us. We are able to strengthen our faith in Him and fulfill His commandments. Our primary intention needs to be for our Creator. All other positive intentions can be fulfilled as a consequence of our obeying our Lord and Sustainer.

Fasting is not only about abstaining from eating or drinking for, “whoever does not abandon falsehood in word and action, then Allah has no need that he should leave his food and drink.”

[Al-Bukhari]

From this hadith, we understand that it is also about improving our behaviour and abstaining from actions such as lying, backbiting, stealing, etc.

What about Shaytaan?

“When the month of Ramadhan comes, the gates of Paradise are opened and the gates of Hell are closed, and the devils are chained.”

[Al-Bukhari]

Good deeds are easy during Ramadhan. But often, as soon as we bid this blessed month adieu we slip back into our bad habits.

We will be told by Shaytaan himself:

And I had no power over you save that I called unto you and you obeyed me.”

[Qur’an 14:22]

Whether Shaytaan is present or not, it is more likely that it is our own nafs that we struggle against. During Ramadhan, being able to do the things that we normally seem unable to do, proves that we can triumph over our own psyche and ego.

Ramadhan is the training ground where we can charge our spiritual batteries for the rest of the year. It is the month of fasting but it is also the month of mercy, forgiveness and repentance; a time for us to turn back to Our Lord. During the year we may have strayed and wandered away from the path and Ramadhan is an opportunity to find our way back:

“O my slaves who have transgressed against themselves! Despair not for the mercy of Allah, verily Allah forgives all sins. Truly he is oft forgiving, most merciful.”

[Qur’an 39:53]

Here are just some of the personal qualities we can develop within ourselves to be true to the path we are taking.

Striving for sincerity

If done with the correct intention, seeking knowledge can be one of the greatest acts of worship. So let us intend to draw closer to Allah through our striving for knowledge. Our intentions should be to practice what we are learning in our daily lives and be better worshippers of Allah, to remove ignorance from ourselves and others, to preserve the teachings of Allah and the Messenger for our generation as well as the next and defend the religion of Allah. Through sincerity we seek Allah’s blessing in our efforts. The Tabi’ee scholar Sufyan ath-Thawri said, “We began seeking knowledge for other than the sake of Allah, but knowledge refused to be sought for other than Allah’s sake.” Having a pure intention, like the Sahaba did, will maximise our reward so we must deliberate over and correct our intentions regularly.

Avoiding sincerity corrupters

Purifying our intentions is a continuous process as Shaitan constantly tries to taint them.
Some key things to avoid are: seeking status, fame, trying to draw attention to ourselves or seeking knowledge merely to compete or debate with people. Neither should we seek knowledge solely for financial gain. The best way to counteract riyaa’ or showing off – which the Prophet (SAW) described as ‘hidden shirk’ - is to increase in our private acts of worship so that there are acts of worship we do that no one but Allah knows about - not even our spouses! One of the first people to be thrown into the fire on the Day of Judgement will be a scholar who taught people merely to be praised, so we need to be vigilant lest something that we think is an asset becomes a liability.

Clinging to the Qur’an and Sunnah and consensus of the scholars

The student should give special attention to the Qur’an- reciting it with correct tajweed, memorising it, understanding it and applying it - because it is the word of our Creator and the foundation of the Islamic sciences. And she should study the Sunnah of the Prophet (SAW) with the guidance of scholars, because the student cannot just pick up a hadeeth book and start applying everything in it as she will not know if the hadeeth is one that is to be applied generally or specifically or if it was abrogated or not etc. Carefully observing the aspects of Shari’ah upon which there is consensus of the scholars is imperative as their consensus is binding upon the Ummah and through it one can avoid a lot of confusion.

Acting upon one’s knowledge

The fruit of knowledge is action. Our knowledge is not benefitting us if it is not impacting on our everyday lives - our beliefs, manners, acts of worship and dealings with others. When we learn the virtues of certain acts and the prohibition of others, or when it is established that something is without doubt a command of Allah or of the Prophet (SAW), we, as students, must be the first to strive to implement what we have learnt. Regarding this, the Prophet (SAW) mentioned that, “The Qur’an is a proof for you or against you.”

Calling to Allah and defending the Shari’ah

Being a carrier of the Prophet’s inheritance, knowledge, the student has a higher level of responsibility in terms of calling people to Allah and defending the Shari’ah – not just from people who seek to distort it from outside Islam, but also from those who have fallen into innovations within

the religion. It was the true scholars and people of knowledge of every generation that protected the religion so that it could be passed on to the next generation unchanged. This includes defending the Prophet (SAW) from attacks on his character and prophethood.

Wisdom in one’s words and actions

The wise person is the one who puts things in their right places. The student of knowledge must evaluate what the priorities are in any given situation.
Sometimes she may have to deal gently in one situation with one type of person and more directly in another setting with another. So for example, if there is a person in front of her who does not pray or fast, her priority in doing da’wah to that person is not to call them to observing hijab.
Rather, the prayer comes first and then the other pillars of Islam as understanding and implementing these will help that person to begin practising Islam properly.
Sometimes it may not be wise to discuss certain subjects in front of certain people so the student should use hikmah (wisdom) in such situations.

Being open minded

The student should avoid argumentation about things that scholars legitimately differ upon – matters of ijtihad. There are many areas with legitimate differences of opinion amongst scholars and they should not be made a basis for partisanship or hatred and enmity. The Sahabah themselves had differences of opinion about various matters. Studying the different opinions should make a student more accommodating and understanding and not force the opinion he follows, upon others. As for matters that there is consensus about, then the student should teach and correct people with regards to them with wisdom.

Striving hard

The student of knowledge will have to be willing to use her time, money, body and energy in the pursuit of knowledge.
She must be disciplined and organised, which also means avoiding wasting time in useless pursuits.
She may have to sleep less, strive harder, spend money, sacrifice and be willing to travel and work hard to seek that knowledge. When other people are playing, she will be concerning herself with benefitting the Ummah. When others are amusing themselves, she will be finding ways to benefit herself in the next world.
As Imam Ash-Shafi’ee said about seeking knowledge: “O my Brother, you will never gain knowledge without possessing six [qualities]; I will inform you of these in detail and with clarity: Sharpness [of the mind], eagerness [to learn], striving hard and having the means; And the company of a teacher and a long length of time!”

Patience

Knowledge takes time to seek as well as to settle in one’s mind. It is a step by step process, so if a student skips a basic step and tries to study something more advanced without the proper foundational knowledge, she will trip up and make mistakes later on. The student has to be patient and seek knowledge in an orderly and structured way. This may take a long time and, in reality, is a lifelong process that the student has to be patient with and persevere upon. If there is something that the student doesn’t understand, she has to be patient in finding out about it properly before forming an opinion about it. Patience is also needed when engaging with one’s community and with people. It is inevitable that some people will offend or hurt us in some way, but the student of knowledge has a higher degree of responsibility to patiently bear some of the annoyances that she faces from society.

Zuhd and Wara

The basic level of zuhd is avoiding attachment to this life by abandoning the things that Allah has forbidden. The scholars describe the zuhd that people of knowledge and high standing with Allah

have: that they should also stay away from things whose permissibility is disputed and things which are luxuries among the Halal matters and things that will distract one from the remembrance of Allah.
Wara’ is having an extra level of piety wherein one is extra careful will regards to even permissible things that might lead one to fall into forbidden matters.

Humility

The more our knowledge increases, the more our humility should increase, because we realise how much we don’t know!
We should regard ourselves as sinful and others as forgiven. Honour and the respect of others is something that is bestowed upon us by Allah as the Prophet (SAW) said in an authentic hadeeth: “Whoever humbles himself for Allah, then Allah will raise him.”

Some characteristics may be deeply entrenched in us but the soul is like a wild horse that we must tame by continuously forcing it to do what we want it to do. At first, taming it will be painful as it resists change. But over time the soul can be trained and habituated to good, even becoming addicted to doing what pleases Allah and avoiding evil. Some of the scholars advised that if you want to develop a certain characteristic or habit, do it for 40 days and it will become a part of you. Why not try it?

Semalam Razali Awang, pemberita TV3 yang pergi ke Gaza baru-baru ni, datang ke syarikat kami untuk berkongsi pengalamannya pergi ke Gaza baru-baru ini. Persatuan Islam Pekerja yang anjurkan. Razali ni tiap kali dia bercerita, mesti tersekat-sekat sebab dia kata dia tak dapat lupakan pengalaman yang dia akan kenang sampai mati.

Ada beberapa perkara yang mahu saya kongsi bersama kerana ianya membuatkan tidur saya tidak lena...

Mesir

Razali kata, ini Firaun moden. Nama je Islam tapi dah terlalu sekular. Sanggup kencing di dinding-dinding masjid.

Mesir sekat sempadan sedangkan hanya itu sahaja jalan darat hendak ke Gaza . Makanan dan ubat-ubatan semuanya rosak di sempadan Mesir-Gaza. Sempadan Mesir-Gaza berada dalam kawasan sepanjang 14 kilometer. Kalau lah tiada sekatan, rakyat Palestin takkan kebuluran...

"Mesir lebih rela bersempadan dengan Israel daripada bersempadan dengan Hamas, Apa punya manusia ni..!", kata Razali Awang.

Khutbah Jumaat di Mesir mengharamkan khutbah mengenai keganasan di Gaza . Razali beritahu rakyat Palestin yang dia interview, di Malaysia, tiap Jumaat kami bacakan Qunut Nazilah dan bersolat hajat demi kesejahteraan rakyat Palestin…

Berapa banyak checkpoint dia kena lalui di Mesir… tapi dengan pertolongan Allah SWT, semuanya berjaya dilepasi... tapi perit nya... yang mintak rasuah… charge naik bas sejauh 500 meter ialah RM70!!!

Memang sekutu kuat Amerika and Israel (Eee…tak ingin hantar anak gi Al Azhar... lebih baik hantar ke negara Islam lain... UIA pun dah bagus!!!)

Gaza (Palestine)

Terbahagi kepada 2 – Hamas dan Fatah… Belah Fatah ada Kasino!

Kata wartawan dari Belgium dan Itali, the best strawberry in the world comes from Gaza !

Imam Shafie lahir di sini (sebak pulak bila dengar yang ni).

Razali kata rakyat Palestin sangat berpegang teguh kepada ajaran Islam dan mazhab Shafie. Orang Palestin sangat baik dan peramah jika dibandingkan dengan Pak Arab di Mesir tu.. Moyang Rasulullah SAW dikebumikan dia sini (lupa nama... tapi dia mention Hashim…).

Beautiful country, iklim Mediterranean. boleh kalahkan Los Angeles kalau tak kerana peperangan..

Hamas

Memang kalangan yang rela mati sebab mati syahid. Rela mati bila-bila masa. Bila bersalam perpisahan dengan Razali dia orang ucap "Kalau anda datang lagi ke sini, adakah kita akan bertemu lagi?"…macam mereka tahu yang mereka akan mati bila-bila masa sahaja.

Tulang-temulang manusia yang melekat di dinding bangunan-bangunan yang rosak akibat dibom Yahudi/Zionis, tak busuk walau dah berminggu!

Mayat tak reput langsung, bila kubur dibedil oleh Israel… punyalah jahat bangsa Yahudi/Zionis, kubur pun dibedil konon tempat simpan senjata.

Hamas ada 25,000 org... tak de senjata canggih tapi yang mati hanya 100 lebih je!!!

Hamas ni beroperasi di bawah tanah dan mereka berada dimana-mana saja. mereka beroperasi dalam kumpulan-kumpulan kecil.

Isteri-isteri kepada yang mati syahid, hanya ada satu misi, untuk berperang dan mati syahid supaya dapat jumpa semula suami masing-masing di syurga...

Bagi mereka, kanak-kanak yang mati berada di sisi Allah SWT.

Menurut seorang ibu yang anaknya mati syahid, hari ni sorang mati, esok pasti lahir seorang lagi bayi yang bakal menjadi pejuang Islam...

Israel

Memang pengecut sebab tak berani berperang secara berhadapan dengan Hamas. di darat hanya duduk dalam kereta kebal. lepastu serang dengan bom pintar atau bom fosforus dari jarak jauh.

Dia org tau Hamas ada penembak tepat! jadi mereka takut nak turun dari kereta kebal.

Kereta kebal Israel musnahkan tanaman seperti anggur dan pokok zaitun sebab tanaman ni makan masa bertahun untuk tumbuh balik. Biar rakyat Palestin kebulur dan tak de sumber pendapatan.

Semua resolusi PBB, satu pun Israel tak ikut!!! Ada back-up besar lah katakan...

Rakyat Palestine

Sedih Razali tengok dia orang rebus rumput sebab dah tak de makanan.

Kanak-kanak tiada cita-cita lain selain dari ingin menjadi pengebom berani mati kerana trauma melihat ahli keluarga dibunuh di depan mata sendiri!

Di hospital - pembedahan, jahit kulit ke apa ke… terpaksa dibuat tanpa bius. Sebab - ubat dah tak de.

Razali kata dia tak tahan dia tengok budak-budak menjerit-menjerit kesakitan bila kepala di jahit!

Dia jugak pergi sendiri ke dewan bedah yang telah dibedil dengan bom fosforus... sebelum serangan ada beberapa orang doktor sedang bedah pesakit… Razali kata tak de apa yang tinggal... semua dah jadi abu!!! Ada la nampak serpihan tulang sikit-sikit disana-sini… Fosforus ni dia hancurkan kulit dan tulang… Nauzubillah.

Ada banyak lagi... tapi terlalu panjang untuk ditulis. Razali Awang memang volunteer nak pergi ke Gaza... jadi, inilah yang diceritakan oleh beliau.

Satu lagi antara pembekal rifle ke Israel selain dari USA ialah negara jiran kita yang paling dekat iaitu SINGAPURA! jadi Razali kata kalau kita shopping dekat sana macam kita sokong Israel.

Jadi kawan-kawan, kita terus berdoa dan berdoa untuk keselamatan saudara Islam kita di mana jua mereka berada..

Gaza

1st post of June and I wonder what should I write.

Lets talk about recent news; Gaza. Gaza issue's not a new issue actually but it's been ages and yet, this issue still remains the same; not yet to be solved. People keep blogging about this recently especially after the Israel's attack of Gaza Aid Convoy. Not to mention, there 're demonstration all over the world about this.

The question is, where is the "humanity"? I know, this question will remain as an unsolved conundrum as ever. Thousand of innocent civilians 're killed and they became victims of the atrocious, barbarous and merciless Israeli acts. I'm very thankful to be a Malaysian and live here; in harmonious environment (ignore some racial and political matters)

Hopefully, Rachel Corrie will be able to complete its passage unimpeded and discharge its humanitarian cargo in Gaza. (RC 's expected to reach there this late evening or Saturday's morning)
